The EDLEQ program is designed for use by the beginning, intermediate, and
advanced professional student in connection with live instruction. It can be used in varying degrees by individuals with at
least three levels of Spanish proficiency:
1. Those with no prior knowledge of Spanish.
2. Those with some formal training in Spanish.
3. Those who are bilingual due to family circumstance.
The primary objective of my program is to build practical communication skills
with an emphasis on conversational fluency. Although conversational fluency is the primary objective of the program, vocabulary
and grammar development are also strongly emphasized. The program consists of classroom instruction, as well as written
homework. The classroom format consists of lectures, teacher-student dialogue and comprehension exercises, and covers
conversational ability, and vocabulary development. Homework consists of compositions on topics chosen by the students,
and vocabulary and grammar exercises. The Spanish used in this program will be widely applicable among many different
Hispanic or Latino groups. Accordingly, it will include familiarity with slang from many different groups. We offer
a variety of programs and services to meet the needs of our customers around the world.
